About Us

Chainwhip aka the Whitehorse Community Bike Space is a volunteer run drop in bike shop operating on Kwanlin Dün First Nation land in a repurposed trailer. The space has been running in this location since 2022 during the warmer months of the year. Additionally Chainwhip runs workshops, pop-ups in communities around the Yukon.

The co-op offers its space, tools and parts to any user on a sliding scale donation policy with no user turned away. The space is built for users to perform their own repairs, volunteers at the space are there to assist the user in completing their repair and goals.

Our hours are based on volunteers ability to open and run the space and vary from week to week, we update our hours regularly on our website. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please get in touch!
